Can i change the ID of a HDD?

Hey guys, sorry to pester you again but ive gotten another suggestion that might shed some light on my problem.

Just to clarify, i dont have an IDE (?) HDD.

The HDDs i do have are SCSI or Scuzzy.

My friend suggested to me that perhaps why im getting the failed operating system is because both HDD have the same ID.

And the computer doesn't know which one to use.


Is there a way i couldd change the ID of one of the two drives?
