Anyone had any experience with the security app. ThreatFire?

It sounds like it would be a worthwhile addition to my AV but want a little input from someone that has actually used it. Also, do you know if it's x64 compatible?

Use it on several PCs along side my AV of choice.

Also recommend it as an additional layer of security to those running an AV only.

Pretty lite on resources so it plays well on older machines.

Configurable to the level of security you wish = no > a few > many pop-ups.

They have just released a 64bit Beta. Of course not recommended for primary machine use as it is a test vers.

I have also used it on all my machines since it came out.

Automatic updates and working quietly in the background with other antivirus and antimalware programmes make it a good extra level of protection in my opinion. It does very little to annoy you with popups, but does notify you when necessary.

Agreed. IMHO ThreatFire is a great complementary layer.

Thanks everyone for the responses. When I looked at it, it looked like it might be a nice addition to the security that I'm already running. Didn't know if it was x64 compatible. Thanks ThunderZ for that bit of info. I'll hold off on the install 'til they come out with the approved/regular version.
