Louis - thanks for explanation....this has been quite frustrating for me.
I do have Easeus Partition Master. I forgot how to do screen shots...can you tell me how to do that and I'll do a screen shot of Easeus Partition Master.

No problem, I forget many things in the course of a day
.
To take a screen shot...just press the Print Screen Key. This saves the image onto the Windows clipboard, which means that it's in temporary storage in memory.
How to take a screen shot
•Obtain the screenshot that you want to post on your system.
•Look on your keyboard and there should be a button (usually in the top right corner) that reads PrtSc or Print Screen, press that button.
•Once the PrtSc button is pressed, Open up Microsoft Paint (or any graphics editing program you may have installed).
To open MS Paint, click Start/Run...type in MS Paint and then click OK or Enter.
•Once Paint is open...on the Menu bar click Edit/Paste. Then click File/Save As...and choose the type file (.jpg or .jpeg).
••Choose the save to location as the Desktop, then click Save.
I found a tutorial that gives better instructions than I do, take a look: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/how-to-take-and-share-a-screen-shot-in-windows/

Thanks.
The D: partition is a recovery/restore partition...I would not do anything to this.
To increase the space available on the C: partition...right-click the C: partition as listed, elect the resize option. You will increase the size of C: by adding the unallocated space which is to the right of C:.
Follow the directions for implementing the change (once you have told EPM what you want to do.
After all changes are completed, you can use any of several utilities to see what is taking up storage space on a partition. I like TreeSize Pro Trial - http://www.jam-software.com/treesize/ for this sort of information. Again/always...before using any program...read the instructions for doing so.

OK, I did that and now have 13.7GB of free space. I can safely use that space? If so, that would work for me for the immediate future.
That software would cost about $50. Is there some free of getting all that lost free space back? Someone else told me about the attached software. I'm sending a screenshot of that. Does that help any?

I don't think I could correct this on my own. Here's a snapshot - any suggestions?
