BleepingComputer.com: Possible Malware

I have had pop ups on my computer for over a month that are telling me that my computer is infected and I need to buy their anti-virus program it is making me crazy becuase there is no way to delete this thing.

I ran Combofix and have attached the log as instructed.

Can anyone read it and tell me what to do now?

Have you tried running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as well? Also, are you running any real-time virus scanner (Norton, McAfee, Panda, etc)? If so, have there been any alerts?

Just a quick glance through turned up Smart Defender Pro (Smart Defender PRO\smrtdefp.exe), and removal instructions are here:

They also suggest Malwarebytes as a removal tool.

ComboFix logs should not to be posted or discussed outside the HijackThis forums. It is an extremely powerful tool which should only be used when instructed to do so by someone who has been properly trained. Explain the nature of your problem. Describe pop-ups and system tray or desktop icons that have appeared. Explain what is "going wrong" with your computer. Note any tools you have used and their respective results.
