BleepingComputer.com: Possible Malware

I have had pop ups on my computer for over a month that are telling me that my computer is infected and I need to buy their anti-virus program it is making me crazy becuase there is no way to delete this thing.

I ran Combofix and have attached the log as instructed.

Can anyone read it and tell me what to do now?

Have you tried running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as well? Also, are you running any real-time virus scanner (Norton, McAfee, Panda, etc)? If so, have there been any alerts?

Just a quick glance through turned up Smart Defender Pro (Smart Defender PRO\smrtdefp.exe), and removal instructions are here:

They also suggest Malwarebytes as a removal tool.

Explain the nature of your problem. Describe pop-ups and system tray or desktop icons that have appeared. Explain what is "going wrong" with your computer. Note any tools you have used and their respective results.
