Hey guys,

Just recently got a mic on Newegg, and I'm trying to record videos now, but the sound won't record. I'm trying to record in-PC sound, meaning sound that you hear from the speakers and not the mic. However, after I read some Youtube tutorials and stuff, I still wasn't able to do it. The mic came without a CD or anything.

Where should I plug in the mic?
How do you record just the sound from your speakers and not your mic?
Does my webcam, which has a mic, have anything to do with it?
I have a Logitech speaker system, and on the volume control, it has a port for your mic. Should I plug it in there?

Not sure i completely understand, but try a program called Audacity - Google it.
Its free, so be careful you dont download any viruses/spyware
hope this helps

That program just records audio--I need audio and video at the same time, which I apparently can't get.
