Hi,

Can any one explain the basic variances in SQL. In a discussion I came across "Trans SQL". Can anyone point me in the direction of getting an overview of the types of SQL.

Cheers, Phil

Trans - SQL is a version by Microsoft, it is used for stored procedures. I don't really know much about it, because I don't have to do much with stored procedures. What type of database are you using?
