Hi All,

I installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my desktop the other night, all went well, I like the change so far. I cannot get on the internet for some reason. I am connected at 54mbps to a wireless network. I open up the internet and it cannot display, tells me to check spelling of website, and a few other things, I have checked, but still nothing. Any ideas? Thanks.

is your firefox set to use a proxy?

try going into the options, under advanced select Network.
Press the first "Settings" button.
Make sure that the "No Proxy" option is checked.
