BleepingComputer.com: Internet Explorer - right click disabled???

Hi there,

When I'm using Internet Explorer and I right click over the page I'm viewing nothing happens.
eg. I can highlight a section of text but cannot copy & paste, or forward the page to anyone.
I can though, copy from the address bar.
I'm not sure if this is a simple settings problem - if it is, I'm don't know where I can enable this from.

I've attempted to re-install Internet Explorer from Microsofts website, but when I try I get the message "You have the latest version Internet Explorer".

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The question. Does this happen on all pages or just certain ones.

The possible explanation. Many sites disable right click in order to protect content.

Hi doinmeedin - checked the link, opened REGEDIT but was not able to find the path suggested in the link - thanks anyway.

Hi ThunderZ, this happens on all web pages - even this one (bleeping computer).
As far as I can tell it works on all other programs, just not on Internet Explorer.

I stated for him to try checking his settings first, as he said it may be somethingn he's missing in settings, so trying the easy options first then move onwards from there Thunderz !

It looks like my answer is to use Firefox.

Have you installed a software which installed some kind of add-on in Internet Explorer.
In your Widows Desktop, right-click on the Internet Explorer, and select Start without add-ons, see if right click works.
If it works without add-ons, then disable a newly installed add-on in IE > Tools > Programs > Manage Addons

The offending add-on was called PopKill Class by Radialpoint.

Right Click works fine now.
