BleepingComputer.com: Win32/Cryptor causing much havok

im at my wits end with this damn computer. i have an Emachines T3508 desktop pc, and i have a Win32/Cryptor infection on here. i ran a scan after downloading a dvd burning program for my computer. well the log mentioned trojans in my rootkits, so i ran a scan with AVG 8.0 and it found it. however i cant do anything with em, it says the threats cannot be removed by standard user rights. i cant set up system restore points, i cant burn cds or dvds (no burning program i've downloaded will recognize my Lite-On SHW-160P6S dvd writer, i believe the trojan may have something to do with that among other issues with this computer). please somebody help me, i feel helpless here and i don't want things to get any worse, im just glad this one doesn't filter out sites that would help

Another good free program you can install and run is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.40 that will scan you're drive for any Malware related files and give you a chance to delete them all after the scan. Now it will depend on the amount of files you have on your drive but when I did a full scan a couple of days ago I have 2,000,000 + files on my drive and it took an hour and a half to do a full scan and its a new fast computer.
