He is on the list and UC davis in California. He got a call that a liver was there and 30 hours latter they found the liver was not good.... O positive is the hardest to find however a don can be 0- . It is not like being able to accept and A or B liver which makes this much miore difficult and live donor looks like the only real option. and he is in very bad shape, he has a family, grandchildren and many freinds whio need him in our lives. Can anyone Help?

I to have a friend that is dying waiting for a liver. he is o positive and that is the hardest liver to find.... He is 57 yrs old and in liver failure. He needs a liver very bad. He lives in Northern CA and has O positive blood type. If anyone can help with infor on finding a live donor please contact us.

Does your friend still need a liver transplant. (sorry I just read this post but I noticed you posted on Aug 21 so I didn't know if they had gotten a liver yet)
