Two days ago after uninstalling a game from my computer I got the blue screen crash. Now it happens very often. I also noticed i had just gotten a virus. My AVG recognized it as Exploit rogue but would not remove it. I think I finally got rid of the virus using Malwarebytes but am still getting the crash.
I ran bluescreenview and the minidump told me that the crash was caused by a driver ntkrnlpa.exe. the bug check string says unexpected kernel mode trap. There is also one that says caused by driver hal.dll.

My first question is, does this have anything to do with the virus I had.
Second question is it possible to copy those files from my desktop computer and replace the bad files on my laptop that is having the crash problems. I have no idea what to do just know that when in safe mode I dont get the BSOD. But as soon as I start up in normal mode it happens anywhere from one minute after to an hour after.
I am running Windows Vista Home Premium
Toshiba Satellite A205
Intel Premium Dual CPU T2330 1.60GHz
1.00 GB Ram
32-bit Operating System
