My roommate just got a new studio xps dell laptop and we are experiencing a strange blue glow behind the text on the screen. It looks sort of like a hologram of the text behind the actual text. There is also a "twitchy" red glow around the toolbar and other places f the screen where the color is dark. Is there any way to fix this?

Cheers,
Evan

In this instance, this is probably going to go down as hardware problems. The screen in this case probably has some backlight problems, so I would suggest talking with Dell to see if they will honor a replacement of the screen or laptop.
