I have windows vista. I am not getting any sound out of my speakers/headfones, I tried using onboard sound and an aftermarket Creative Soundblaster card model number SB0490... nothing
I have even tried to upgrade the drivers and it says that they are all up to date...
In the Device manager, The only yellow I see is on USB CF Reader.

On your taskbar with the notification area, do you see any icon relating to audio?

What to look for:

cone with a red x through it

nothing at all

cone with audio waves coming out

Just let me know.
