restoring program after crash error: the specified module cannot be found.

Power supply failed and damaged hard drive( my guess). Running xp pro. I try to open my POS software and all I get is the error: the specified module cannot be found. This happens with all the shortcuts within the software. Probably other problems also but I started with this one. Any ideas whats missing or out of place?

Uninstall the program...then reinstall.

My guess would be damaged files...number unknown, location unknown.
