Also check the BIOS to make sure any "Wake-On" options" are disabled

Never had that problem but have heard about many times, same with the wake-on as already mentioned.
And may be look at powercfg command http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library...28WS.10%29.aspx - can narrow it down perhaps. powercfg -devicequery wake_armed is a start. Scroll down to "-devicequery query_flags"
