Slip stream Yes or No Have D/C with SP-3

If one has a 2002 XP- PRO SP-2 OEM CD and has a CD with SP-3 from M/S is there a need for Slip Streaming.

The slipstream disk is far superior to the upgrade in place option
The slipstreamed disk can be used as a repair disk without going all the way back to sp2
Windows is much smaller when you use the xp sp3 clean install
Even with sp3 I had 50 megs of critical updates from MS not including maliscous tool or IE 8

Well...I guess that it depends on whether you like doing things in one step or two.
It makes a difference if you want/need to run sfc/scannow and have SP3 installed...no can do with a CD reflecting SP2.
I prefer the slipstreamed CD.

Maybe not a need if you have both, but it may be convenient sometime in the future.
