BleepingComputer.com: Desktop Share (remote desktop) software for IT Support.

We need You're help.

From few days we trying to find software what will help us with our IT Support service, but without any positive result.

We looking for application what will be suitable for following situation:

• Client download from our website application.
  
• Client run application
  
• Client (automatically connect to our central server bypassing any firewalls ) get support password id.
  
• Client say this password to technician.
  
• Out technician start client console, connect to central server, and using password from user take control on his desktop.

We can't find any working suitable solution what will use our server and have normal licensing, not by hours or issues.

We tried following software but without positive result.

http://www.nexusconcepts.com - Looks great, have everything what we want but crash on Vista when opening Windows "run" or "cmd".
http://www.uvnc.com/index.html - Don't support encryption and passwords when using "repeater" (middle server between users and technician)
http://remotesupportsystem.com - Same like above but paid .
http://remotezilla.com - Same like above.
http://www.readydesk.com/ - Still based on same solution, no encryption...


As You can see, this is very hard mission to find something good.

We need this software to run under Windows XP / Vista / (in future) Seven

i am a tech support guy in our office. i usually install the tightvnc server on our workstations so that i can control their desktop using the tightvnc viewer.

now if you are planning to access your client's computers online, you should know their IPs.
i have successfully remote accessed windows xp, ubuntu and vista.

I think your asking for a lot here. If your trying to have it connect through your server and not a middleman, you arent going to find any easy/free solutions. The solutions i would have suggested are through another server as a middleman. I know www.logmein.com has a rescue type application that would be almost perfect for you except it is not free and it has that middle server. another option is teamviewer.com, but again they have the middlepoint host that you both connect to.

Would you be willing to bend any of your demands?
