Hello
I am running Vista Home premium and would like to disable the "importing pictures and videos box" that comes up at log in. . I tried changing the printer settings in Services to manual but hasn't helped any.

Thanks

Tom

The "importing pictures and videos" probably doesn't have anything to do with your printer. What would a printer do with a video? Do you have multiple hard drives plugged into the system? My guess is that it is just trying to catalog everything.

That sounds right but can it be stopped from doing it automatically?

As far as I know, Vista doesn't have this behavior by default, so I have to guess that it is some third party software that is doing it. Do you have media player set to start when you start windows or anything like that?
