Hi Groov,

Just a little fun. I do see need for a cell phone when contact in an emergency is wanted like now with what is happening in my life. The thing with mostly younger people do is they use them at the first beep even at work when work is first. I've been in work trucks that transport men and they start fumbling in their pocket while driving at that point I tell them why don't you quit. And they always say what, my reply is how many of us do you want to kill today? Etiquitte, they have no concept of when and how to actually use it even if it gets them disiplined with time off then they start complaining but some other time for that. When I do get a phone I will post for some advice.

It's that thing with buttons that sits in the console of my car so in case I have car problems I can call someone for help.

Cell phones are evil incarnate.

Telemarketers who call cell phones are the very spawn of the netherworld.

Why can't all human interaction be in text-based media such as the interwebs? Wouldn't that be swell?

That's what text messaging is for.

Email is for text messaging. A telephone is for voice communications. Text messaging over the cell phone is evil.

Has anyone seen the local British PD's public service message about teens texting while driving? Very graphic, makes a point but with all the horror and gore movies they will not pay any heed to it.

So it's in the center console of a Ford? You must need unlimited air time then! Hahaha! JK!
