Can build a cantena from a pringles can. Not sure of the cost.

I decided on building a antenna out of a Direct TV dish mounted the dongle on the Lnb and covered it with a piece of metal duct used for a dryer vent (the solid type not flexible).
The problem I am having now is extending the usb and having it work.
I unintentionally started talking about this in my new post so we can continue here or there.
My new post is titled: installed driver for wireless usb still saying unknown device
Sorry did not intend starting the discussion there but it had been a long day and it did not dawn on me that I should have posted here.
