Malware writers overwhelmingly pick Firefox to infect others,
because the open-source browser doesn't leave them open.

With Malware writers you mean kids or exploit-newbees seeking newly made sites offering "advice"? I dont think this tell much about what real, "serious" malware writers use, or why that should matter. They have their own little "network". Besides, on almost any "technical" computer related website you will come to same conclusion, the more people know, or think they know, the higher tendency to use Firefox - and so we can conclude only "dumb" people use IE :thumbsup:
