Of course we need courts, judges, sneaky snake lawyers and even scum of the earth prosecutors. We would be in bad shape without them. Now, civil courts can be humorous but criminal courts can be down write comical! In most cases their nothing more than mockeries of injustice.

Here's what I mean, take the judge for example (any judge) they all call themselves honorable but have you ever meet one that wasn't a complete dirt bag? Be honest! You can lie to me but you can't lie to yourself! Judges think they are mini god's and love to be the star of attention. They make their living off the blood, sweat and tears of the poor and often use their position to advance themselves into the political arena for even more money and power. Think about how cold blooded you have to be to be a criminal judge. Criminal courts have ruined more people's lives than the criminals who we set the courts up for to keep the street criminal from ruining the lives of honest, hard working patriotic Americans. Criminal courts make more criminals than they get rid of, not the other way around. Have you ever heard of proactive policing? What about the privatization of prisons? If you don't understand those two things then you're asleep and soon to be on your way to prison. Even worst, your children will become the next group of prey for the judicial system. Funny huh?

No Buckshotdad1960, please do not be sorry! I live in Luzerne County...New Home of the FBI. But I am sure, you have heard, what went down there? Nooo...I have Gothic wings...and bats in me belfry. I do apologize Amazing Andrew, if I am going totally off topic?

I don’t find the pain and suffering of others to be funny. Nor do I hold in high esteem those who make their living off the misfortune of others. Not that I disagree with kicking someone out on the street for not paying their rent or sending someone to prison if they truly deserve to go. There are certain realities in life we must all face.

My grandfather was a county Sheriff for twenty years and both my parents were police officers their whole adult lives. My grandfather and dad are both now past away and my mother is retired but it is safe to say that I have learned a thing or two about the suffering of others. Too often the people who make their living off the misfortune of others turn out to be in many ways more evil than the people they destroy.

For those of you who do not know what the privatization of prison is all about, it is where the state says to a rich man, hey Mr. Rich man, build yourself a prison and we will pay you to house our prisoners. He then uses his own money and builds a prison. Now to him every empty bed is loss of revenue so he hires lobbyist to lobby law makers to pass all kinds of petty laws that help the police make arrests that give the state a steady stream of prisoners to send to his prison. Clever huh? And we pay for it with our tax dollars. This wouldn’t be such a bad idea if prisons were full of hardened criminals but their not. Only 1/3 of any prison houses the states killers, child molesters, carrier criminals of all kinds and anyone else who truly deserves to be there. The other 2/3 is made up of people like you and me. Even the pettiest crime can land you in prison and ruin your life, and even the shortest jail time there can turn into a death sentence because of the high rate of aids in prisons due to intervenes drug users. Most people there are in for drug crimes. The guy who brings in the dope to this country by the truck load is rarely caught but the kid on the street with a pocket full of it makes up the majority of prisoners in prison.

Proactive policing is where the police arrest anyone for anything all the time. No matter how small the infraction they will still arrest you. Why? There are several reasons why.
1. They are in the criminal making business, without criminals they have no job.
2. With an arrest comes an arrest record. This makes you easier to identify and arrest the next time.
3. When you’re arrested and ran through the meat grinder you provide money and job security for all those associated with the judicial system. Gotta feed the beast and keep it alive! Tax payers don’t carry the full load you know!
4. Gotta keep the tally sheet looking good. A tally sheet is what helps a cop get promoted to a higher pay bracket. A tally sheet is a record of what a cop has done for the month. It shows how many tickets he’s written, how many misdemeanor and felony arrests he’s made. At the end of the month it is reviewed by his sergeant and a sergeant can tell if he’s worth having around or not. No arrest and you get fired! The more arrest the happier the sergeant! It’s an easy game and we pay for it with our money and bodies!

And I was just referring to a lack over oversight on private prisons leading to unchecked abuse and negligence to increase profit and lower the bottom line. (In much the same way a paramilitary organization doesn't have to follow the same rules as a state-run military, so would private prisons operate.)

The truth is we lock up more people than any other country in the world. Prisons are full and we’re running out of money to take care of them. For all of our effort do we return criminals back on the streets as reformed productive citizens? I think not! In fact for all our effort have we ever wiped out a crime? No! Sure the major crimes like murder, rape, robbery and the like are as low as they have ever been but still we lock up more people each year than we did the year before. Prisons are not about keeping the community safe their about making money. Prisons are big business. Have you ever walked into a court house and wondered how much all that marble and wood work that is designed to intimidate and control you cost? Business is good and they did all that building with only half of the money they make because the other half goes to the state. Every traffic ticket, every court fine, every car they confiscate and sell, every home and every piece of land they steal from us, every bank account they drain goes in their pockets to reinforce their dominance and control over us.

This is how the few control the many with brute force and intimidation.

They say that every time a man goes to jail a woman is made poor. That’s because a woman will drain her life savings, sell her home and borrow money to get her man out of jail. You can go down to the court house any day of the week and find women lined up with money orders. It’s sad really. The bail bonds man views the jail house as an endless gold mine. The dragnet of proactive policing nets up ten’s of thousands of people every single day for miner crimes, yes, they will catch a big fish every now and then by a routine traffic stop but most of the fish in the net are sardines! The police create poverty and are responsible for children growing up with out a father or even a mother in a lot of cases. They care nothing for the welfare of these children, as far as their concerned they can grow up to join their family member in prison.

I bet when you get pulled over for speeding you think it’s for giving you a speeding ticket. Sure, you may get a speeding ticket but the main point of pulling you over is to make an arrest. If your Mr. clean you just get a speeding ticket but if you have an arrest record he’ll want to search your car. You think you have nothing to hide so you foolishly give your consent to search only he finds a screw driver in the glove box or a buck knife in the console you forgot to remove from that last fishing trip, now you’re under arrest for a concealed weapon. He keeps looking and finds that baggie of aspirin your wife lost that time she had a headache only the pills are not clearly marked aspirin or in their original container so you’re now slapped with a controlled substance charge. You can scream their just aspirins all day long but he doesn’t know what they are and nobody is going to do a chemical test on them to prove you’re telling the truth. He keeps looking and under the seat he finds a beer bottle with the cap on and two swigs left. Even you’re shocked! Where did that come from? It could have been there for weeks! Now he’s got you for an open container. You shake your head in disbelieve of what is happening when he finds a joint under the back seat. Those damn kids! Last Saturday night when you let them take the car they must have been smoking pot! Yes, it’s true your always the last to know what your kids are up to like the rest of us but you can’t say it is your kids weed and ruin their life too so you say its yours. Boom another charge! Man, what a bummer! You were calling it a night and heading home for supper, a little TV then off to bed but now your headed for the slammer for finger printing, a mug shot and a little bend over and spread’em! He tells you to turn around and put your hands behind your back but captivity makes you get stupid for a split second and you push the cuffs away! Boom, assault on a police officer! A felony! You just lost your right to vote and bear arms. No more deer hunting for you. He then wrestles you to the ground and sticks his knee in your back but that old high school football injury makes you squirm. Boom, resisting arrest!

Now you’ve got enough charges on you to make this guy captain and you thought you were a model citizen playing by the rules. Trust me, by the time you get out of court and they use their terminology to label and define you even you’ll think that your a no good scum bag. This kind of thing goes on everyday across America to thousands of people who are no worst of a human being than you. Think it can’t happen to you? Think again! Better tell your wife to get a money order.

Wow... Seems a little alarmist? Surely a past criminal record doesn't constitute legal grounds for a probable cause search of a vehicle?

In an ideal world what you say is true on both points, but you and I live in the real world. In the real world when a police officer needs to make arrests he may have no reason to ask to search your car but he’ll do it anyway just to see what you’ll say. If he smells weed he can legally search it without your consent anyway or if you act suspicious. He defined suspicious. If you’re not very smart the officer will start throwing a barrage of questions at you and catch you in a lie. When he does he can arrest you for lying to a police officer and search your car anyway, perhaps then finding and putting additional charges on you. The point is the police officer does this sort of thing all the time for a living. When was the last time you were searched? Never? He knows that people are shocked and amazed at the things he can find and charge you with. If he sizes you up to be someone he needs to go by the book with he will call his sergeant and discuss his legal options and reasons why he wants to search you. A warrant can in bigger cities be obtained with just a phone call. Or he can without his sergeant’s permission call a k9 unit to come in and do a walk around of your car. If the dog alerts he has the legal right to search. Only the rich have rights and then those are limited. Don’t assume that just because you’re a citizen of the United States that you will be treated as one or that you have rights he can not violate out in the dark. Your word against a police officers word doesn’t amount to much. Remember you can not sue a police officer, only the city, county or state he works for. The poor fair even worst out in the dark! You don’t have to have a police record to be searched but if you do it will help get you searched quicker.

I am often amazed at the false sense of security people have with what they feel are their rights. A rich daddy, a lawyer in your pocket and connections to the right people are much better than a wheel barrel of rights in helping you turn away trouble. The police officer wants to arrest you then drop you off in jail and let the judge deal with it. But if he thinks he’ll have to come back and waste his time in court testifying against you he may have second thoughts about arresting you and just go look for someone more easily to arrest. Providing of course he hasn’t caught you red handed committing a crime. If he’s caught you then your rich daddy, lawyer and the fact that your best friend is a cop won’t help you.

In a cops mind everybody is dirty of something and he’s usually right. There are laws against everything. I’ll bet there are laws against things you don’t even know about! Did you know that if a cop gets in your face and starts yelling at you to the point that he’s literally spiting on you and that if you raise your hand in between your face and his to block the spit you have committed a felony assault on that police officer and can be arrested, lose your right to vote and bear arms. Yeah, that’s right. It’s a felony. Still feeling special and full of rights? Welcome to the real world.

Unfortunately, buckshotdad is so right. Here, in Luzerne County we had Two judges in the Kids for Cash scheme. Privatize Prisons? Yup, that is what those two judges did, and it wasn't legal. Now Fast Eddie, aka gov of Penna, appointed a special panel to review the system. But how many kids lives got changed because the power those two had?

What rights? Believe me, these judges felt that these kids had no rights.

This is America! The land of opportunity where you can be anything you want to be. What ever your heart desires and can dream you can be. Having said that I know there is someone out there who’ll try and be funny and say something like, that’s not true, what if I wanted to be a killer or a rapist or a robber? Yes, you can be those too if you want too! There’s two ways at least to do everything. One way is legal the other is not. If you want to be a killer just go get a gun and kill someone if that’s your thing. Sure, chances are that the cops will show up and arrest you. You might get the chair or spend the rest of your life in prison. But, if your heart is set on killing people for fun then use your head and do it right. Learn how to follow the rules. Join the army, chances are sooner or later you’ll see combat where they want you to kill people. You can kill all the people they say you can without getting in trouble. Become a cop and maybe you’ll get to kill someone. Impatient? Join S.W.A.T. for faster action you get the idea. What about rape? Yes, opportunity lies behind every bush. Just find a good bush and get behind it. Wait until a woman comes along then jump out and rape her! Sure, again you might get caught and go to prison so don’t do it too often. What’s that? But you’re horny every day! Well then become a porn star. You can rape all the women you want and they won’t even press charges! If you want to be a robber you don’t even have to have a gun. Just pretend you do and go rob a Seven Eleven. But be warned the $20 you’ll get might get you 20 years in the pen! Want the big money? Follow the rules and steal legally. Become a politician, judge, bail bond man, tow truck driver, preacher, you get the idea! Yes, America is truly the land of opportunity! Follow the rules and have a nice day.

The two judges you mentioned broke the rules. They got to greedy. They may have broke the share the wealth rule and made an enemy who canceled their prescription to the good life or simply just zigged when they should have zagged and got ran over by unavoidable fate. Either way I’m glad they did. I hate those in power that ruin our lives just so they can eat a little better tonight. The ones that use our kids to do this are the worst. They should be killed not jailed.

Today I was reading on a web site about our government’s position on child porn. If you listen to the government you think they really care about our children, but I can tell it’s all just a big lie and their true motive is not the protection of our children but to make an uncontested buck. It’s like the seat belt law. They don’t care if you get killed in a car crash or not, they just sweep the mess up and life goes on but the insurance companies care. They pay for the damage, the life insurance polices, and the doctor bills. They have done studies that prove wearing a seat belt helps reduce injury and thus they save money. So the insurance company hires lobbyist to lobby law makers to pass a seat belt law making us wear it. I have no problem with that. It makes sense to protect your self but I don’t like being lied to like I’m stupid. The cops are more than eager to enforce this law because when you’re fined the judicial system gets all the fine money. They act like their just trying to do you a favor and save life because they care about you and your kids when in reality nothing could be further from the truth, all they want is the money from the fine. Having a seat belt on is a good idea but acting like their giving you a ticket for your own good because they care about you is the lie they use so you don’t scream HEY I’M BEING ROBBED by a well dressed crook with good manners!

Child porn is the same way. They know that if they make the child rapier look like a big enough villain that no one will come to his ad and they will in effect create a whole group of people they can prey upon for money without anyone suspecting their not really concerned with the safety of your children as much as their interested in making money off these people. Again, like the seat belt law for example, arresting child rapiers is a good idea. Anyone who cruses past your house and kid naps your kid to molest them, films it and sell that film for money, then kills your child and buries them to hide the crime should in turn be killed not jailed. They prefer jailing because they can use tax dollars to keep them in jail thus feeding the judicial beast and keep the machine alive. The problem I have is when the motivation they have is to make money not keep our children safe. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

When I was a young adult, like so many others, I truly believed that I could help change the world and make it just a little bit better. Now, I just shake my head because I realize that nothing really has changed in the past how many centuries? Man is still the animal that he has always been regardless of how many laws we cage him with. We have tried to place a value on human life, whether it is through religion or philosophy, only to "see" another man wipe it out. I really hope it is only the sociopaths that you are referring to, buchshotdad, but I don't believe so. If anything, they are multiplying in number. Do I have the answer? No...and I can't even agree with Satan that his favourite sin is Pride...because I truly believe it is Greed. Greed is what fuels the machine that sets all the sins in motion. And that is my two bites worth, and may I be dead wrong.

When corruption becomes the norm who is the sociopath? When cops break the law there is no law. Picture a world where all the positions of power are given to the hardest criminals in prison. Charles Manson becomes president and so on down the line. Pretty hard to imagine huh? People in prison will never hold any kind of power but what if people just like them rose up and took over? Would we know what that would look like? Would we know when we were being preyed upon and used by people in power? Bush is responsible for a lot more people dieing than Charles Manson could ever dream of and George Bush still sleeps pretty well at night. Follow me? Is George Bush a sociopath? What is a sociopath? Is it a criminal that acts on impulse or one that calculates his moves and plays by the rules of engagement? Those two judges you spoke of were preying on those kids just to make a buck. Look at the lives they ruined. When I was a kid, if you had a Juvenal record, when you turned 18 it was sealed and no one could see it. Now it and your adult record is on the NCIA FBI computer and almost anyone can have access to it. None of those kids will ever have a good paying job. They have been doomed to a life of low wage manual labor jobs. Big companies do a criminal back ground check on you and see if you have ever been arrested. If so you do not get the job. They do not care if the charges were dropped or if you were wrongfully arrested. Every cop that ever pulls them over for anything will run their plates and instantly know they have been arrested. All it takes is to be arrested one time for even the smallest, dumbest thing and you have a criminal record forever. With an arrest record you become potential prey for the cops to arrest. When you’re pulled over the cop already knows you have been arrested, during your conversation he will ask you if you have ever been arrested for anything before. You think well, I don’t want this cop to think I’m a bad person because if I play my cards right I’ll talk my way out of this ticket, besides that arrest was a long time ago and over nothing. They may have even dropped the charges and sealed your record so you lie and say no! Boom he arrest you for lying to a police officer, now you have a bigger record and the next cop that pulls you over what will he think about you? Think he’ll give you a break? He'll think every word out of your mouth is a lie. The local judge that sealed your record may not be legally able to open your record on that case again and use it against you but his jurisdiction and ruleing to seal the file stops at the state line. Once you’re in the FBI’S computer anyone with a good reason can access your records.

Very true, back in the day, they would purge juvie records. But what really gets my "goat" is why do people believe kids have no rights? In this valley, there are 11 year old's with ankle cuffs on, and no word of lie, we have adults walking around who have committed murder. I would love to know what those kids did that was so wrong. What it boils down to around here, if you got a lawyer, you walk, if not, off to jail you go.
