I have been looking for plug ins ( not sure if this is the right terminology ) for Microsoft office outlook, such as alerts to a incoming message on the screen not on the tool bar. such as an moving or spinning envelope with a E on it ( just an example ). I have an audio track already put in place ( a very cool one from the movie euro-trip ). so far my searches for this has only come up with one product which is not what I was looking for, this was incredimail which is not a plug in and you can not change what you get. I running windows XP home. thanks for any advice.
I not sure if this is the right place on the forum so sorry Mr moderator if it is not.

A quick search of Google for "Microsoft Outlook Plugins" resulted in many hits; since I do not use outlook, or even OExpress, I cannot recommend or vouch for any of these.
Sorry,
John

Open Outlook, click tools, click options, click emails options, click advanced email options. You should be able to check a box there enabling the alert when new mail arrives. I am not sure what version Outlook your using, so my directions may be a little off but should point you in the right direction.

QQQQ that option doesn't work when outlook is closed (unless I'm doing something wrong which wouldn't surprise me) I did find what I was looking for, it wasn't in the simple search in google"Microsoft outlook plugin's" which I did do before I asked for help. Thanks for the help anyway QQQQ and jgweed if anyone does want this plugin here is the link

It is called "you've got mail", which basically tells you when you have received mail without having your outlook opened by having a envelope bouncing across your screen. though I haven't had it running successfully yet but the on-line help is very good so I'm still tweaking it up alittle. again thanks for the help.
