I built a computer using an Inter d845hv (gateway oem) board, which when left unattended seems to go into a sleep mode. it does not wake when mouse or keys used, nor does power/reset seem to wake it. Only thing that works is unplugging it, and then plugging back in.

any thoughts to what may cause it? i don't think it's overheating, this is the same board and components used in a different case, alth board is new but same board as prieviously used with ati video, soundblaster, and other components. i was trying to find a temp utility, but haven't found one.

i basically bought a new board, reinstalled cpu, put it in a new case w power supply, new hd and dvd drive, and same video and sound, and memory.

any help or ideas are appreciated.

well, i updated the drivers, and this morning, the display was blank. i have screensaver and powersaving both set to off. i hit the space bar, screen came up, but then keyboard and mouse did not respond. not even ctl-alt-del. i turned it off and then back on and all was good, and so far no issues.
