HI,
I have an older computer that has been sitting around. I was going to take it to church to use, , so I removed all of my personal info off of it. Yesterday I set it all back up again, and it will not go to the welcome page. All I get is a black screen with the error message FF 301 Keyboard Error. I have tried 2 different keyboards on it, and I get the same thing. Do you have any advice?

I appreciate it.

According to Compaq site FF301 Error means, keyboard reset or key stuck error. Check if any key is stuck on your keyboard, just quick tap them all once. Also check the connectors if they are plugged in firmly. The connectors may gather dust after idling for some time, you can try cleaning them. You can try to remove PS/2 devices like mouse and attach only keyboard to see if it works. You can attach a USB keyboard and see if it works.
