I'm trying to submit a tutorial or mini-guide .DOC or .HTM file as required by the Tutorial guidelines. I can't find any Upload button. Please help, thank you

Are you sure that you have read the instructions properly?
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic138.html#guide

First you should send an email to see if a tutorial is from interest. If it is, then you are supposed to zip up the tutorial and send it by email.

Ouch! I did read the formatting section and followed that to the letter. I didn't absorb the submission part. Thanks a lot

Hehe, I didn't slap you  (I mean because of your OUCH)

No problem :flowers: At least you won't have to re-write the tutorial to fit the formal requirements, which is certainly a good thing :trumpet:

 :flowers:

My submission failed. Just got this from my ISP (verizon) and the google reference seems irrelevant anyway.

Grinler,
I don't see what I am looking for in that section
I used submit-tutorials@bleepingcomputer.com for submitting. That address is in the guide to tutorials.
But the mail is not getting through. I tried again today - here's the snippet I get from ISP, practically identical to what I quoted yesterday:

Recipient address: submit-tutorials@bleepingcomputer.com
Reason: Remote SMTP server has rejected address

We discussed this though and I thought you were going to submit it as a mini guide.

No problem with mini-guide.
It's just I can't find instructions how, meaning where to, submit a mini-guide. And the mail address for tutorials is not working.

The link Grinler provided in post #6 is to the Mini-guides forum. Navigate to the appropriate sub-forum for your mini-guide and create a new topic. Post your mini-guide in the message area. Preview it to make sure it's okay before hitting the Make New Post button. Once you hit that button, you won't see the topic until it's officially approved - similar to the speak-easy in that fashion.

Edit: This topic: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic39948.html provides basic instructions for creating and submitting a mini-guide

This topic: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic39943.html contains the guide template.

Orange Blossom

Thanks OrangeBlossom!
I see now, finally, that mini-tutorials are tight little posts, not files one submits.
