i could hear a faint voice so i turned up my speaker volume
My computer was repeating the phrase "System Failed, CPU Test"

Checked on the AMD web site and they mention this happens on bootup and usually it crashes the computer
just needs some sortta bios flash updating ...

i rebooted with no problems and haven't heard the voice again.

just thought i'd share this info.

Hey guys,

I have an ASUS board that has the voice post thing. I think you can "silence it" in BIOS.

I won't say this too loud, but I swear mine whispers "eat more chocolate" while I sit beside it.

I have an ASUS K8V Deluxe, and mine took to screaming that at me a while back. I just went to the bios and set the fan speeds to always on (or whatever the max is) and it hasn't happened since. I don't know if that's why it failed, but I know heat can do weird things to a computer.
