I have set up my sons new laptop parental controls.
The laptop has several games that we installed before I set up the admin account, Now when he logs in (on the same laptop) he cannot see or use the games we put there for him.
I can see the games when I log in to my account.
Also he cannot see the pics I put in my admin account for him to use on his account.
I set the files to "share" and gave permmision for him to use them but he still cannot even see the pics and game shortcuts from his desktop.
What am I doing wrong?

Sharing of a folder/file is to be done over a network. You need two computers for this to work. On one you logged in as admin, and another that connects to your computer on which your son is logged in. On a single PC, only one user can log in and so sharing does not work.
If you want all users to see your pictures, put them in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Pictures"
For making the programs/games available,
Copy the corresponding shortcut from
"C:\Documents and Settings\John\Start Menu\Programs" (assuming your admin username is John)
to
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs"
All this is done when logged in as admin. I hope this helps.
