Laptop Won't Boot Laptop asks for boot disk

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop with Vista Home Premium 32 bit. My 4 year old granddaughter touched some buttons. Now the laptop won't boot. It asks for a boot disk. Where and how do I get a boot disk for this?
