BleepingComputer.com: access point without a patch cable?

Good morning/afternoon fellow techs

i have a bit of a dilema here.

first a little bit of beckground on my setup here.

we have a pretty full house as far as electronics are concerned. the router were using is a linksys wrt54g

we are running 3 computers 2 PS3's an xbox 360 and a laptop. my sister downstairs has 1 computer 1 PS3 and 1 XBOX 360 all using wired connections. the rest is all wireless. the 2 computers upstairs are using usb wireless cards. (linksys wusb54g) the problem is the signal strength isnt all that great towards the back of the house upstairs.

i have bought a belkin f5d7234 wireless router which i have confirmed has an access point mode in it.

what i need to know is there a way to make the 2 wifi routers communicate without using a patch cable? running another cable is out of the question.

any info or websites or things u jotted on a napkin that can help would be greatly apreciated.

Here is a page describing the technology you need to do what you are talking about.

There is no way to connect the second router to your network via a cable? It doesn't have to be connected to the first router. Just plugged in somewhere. The other thing you could look into is a signal booster.
