Not able to login with password after " dirty pointer " error message SOLDii Auction software prgram

Hi this Auction software program called SOLDii is a Linux based platform. A client has a " Dirty Pointer " error message, and then was not able to log on to their remote workstation after this .
The password is not accepted. Has anybody had any experiences with this program or this error message ???
