No more three finger salute, no more trying to remember what keys to press and no more splash screen asking what you want to do.

1. Right click Task Bar
2. Click Task Manager

3. It's open

Nice, but I find that the good ol' Control+Shift+Escape suits my needs quite well.

I didn't know you could do it with Shift + Ctrl + Esc!

That is great for keyboard users, but then you still have to use up/down arrows to highlight Task Manager and then hit Enter, so by the time someone gets to highlighting Task Mgr using the good ol' method, you have it already open with 2 clicks. Just a tad faster IMO.

I stand corrected. :flowers:
I'm not a big keyboard user, I was using the wrong keys (Ctrl+Alt+Del) :trumpet:
Need to get stronger reading glasses too.

In my school when i do Control+Shift+Escape.

It says Task Manager disabled by administrator or something.

Why?

Because the task manager has been disabled. Since this is a school computer you are probably not running with admin rights but instead as a limited account. Windows allows Administrators to disallow access to the Task Manager to limited accounts.

If it were your personal computer and you were running with admin rights, then that would be a sure sign of malware.

Both tips are useful, the two click one, and the keyboard one.

What else can be done by keyboarding?

I noticed some remarkable differences when you click: "Home", and "CTRL-HOME", and even "Shift-HOME", it does differetn things :-) So keyboarding rocks :-) I am often using CTRL-Z.
