Resolution after Stand-By

After I put my computer in to stand-by mode my monitor changes to a lower resolution. Any suggestions on how to prevent this?

It still acts up on restarts maybe I just have to live it. I am using a desktop computer maybe thats why it didn't work?

Now it even changes on start up....I hate vista
