Vista Mobility Center Cannot turn wireless on

Trouble shooting shows the wireless is turned off. when trouble shooting it tells me to go the Vista Mobility Center and turn wireless on. When I do that "Turn wirelsess on" is not highlighted thus cannot turn on.

Any guidance??
