I am attempting to use a Gateway laptop. When I turn it on, I get the following:

Pre Boot eXecution environment
PXE v2.1
PXE - E61 Media test failure, check cable
PXE - MOP Existing PXE-ROM
No operating system found
This starting suddenly. The computer was off for a week and, when I tried to turn it on, I get the above. This has been a terrific computer, about 3 years old. Help!

The likely candidate is a hard drive failure.
