RAM voltage problem which is it?

Okay, so I have an older Intel desktop board, D915PGN. The problem here is that the Intel website and the manual both specify different voltages for the RAM that goes in the motherboard, and I have no idea which one is right. How do I figure this out?

Ignore the 1.8 volts, thats for ddr2

DDR used 2.5-2.6 volts

So, for example, if i bought 2.6v ddr, would it be compatible with my board?
