I am running Windows XP SP3 and lately backed up my *.pst files from Outlook 2003, formatted and reinstalled Windows. I want to transition to Mozilla Thunderbird, but currently have problems importing my old mail and contacts into Thunderbird. Outlook 2003 is currently not installed. I have searched the net for solutions, but only found a Thunderbird plugin that imports pst-files for Linux. I'm looking for a windows solution.

I appreciate any help

I don't know if this is what you saw containing the plugin for Linux reference Import .pst files, but the article discusses other ways to get around the issue. Quite convoluted, IMHO, but it can be done.

Why is the word abbreviation so long?
