Windows 98 will not boot. I can get it started in MSDOS mode, but when I do I'm unable to access the CDROM drive (it says "invalid drive"). I have my Win98 installation CD, but don't know how to boot from it. How do I get this system working again?

On boot up go to your Bios and set the drives to load from 1."A:\ "or Floppy 2. "Cd-Rom" 3. HDD or IDE then reboot your computer with the Windows Install disk in your cd-rom. If that don't work then make a new Win98 Startup disk and put it in your A:\ (Floppy) drive. You can get a win98 boot disk image from here --
