Hello there!

have win 98 SE with IE6. Latter has started to flash a msg. often which is as follows:
"Micrsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close... Restart Microsoft Internet Explorer". The box for restart comes checked which, of course, can be unchecked. Any ideas, boss, how to make this bug vamoose???!
Thank you in advance!

There's no fix currently available for the error in Win 98/Me, but Microsoft suggest this 'workaround' :

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. On the Advanced tab, click to select the 'Disable Script Debugging' check box in the Browsing section.
4. Click OK, and then restart Windows.
