I need help fixing it through recovery console. How would i do that?
My boot.ini file looks like this: (I had to type it myself so there may be spelling erros but I doubled checked).
[boot loader]
redirect =use
redirect baudrate =biossettings
timeout =20
default = multi<0>rdisk<0>Partition<1>\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi<0>rdisk<0>Partition<1>\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP" /fastdetect
multi<0>rdisk<0>Partition<1>\WINDOWS="Windows Xp" /fastdetect
multi<0>rdisk<0>Partition<1>\WINDOWS="Robenolt" /fastdetect
multi<0>rdisk<0>Partition<1>\WINDOWS="\fastdetect" /fastdetect
Anyways someone told me it should look like this:
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /usepmtimer

If you type "bootcfg /rebuild" in the Recovery Console it will rebuild the boot.ini file.
