Important Announcement: We have two terrific contests running on the site that I wanted all our members and guests to know about.

The first contest is the HP Magic Giveaway, which is underway as of November 28th. More information can be found at this topic, which will be updated very soon with further information.

The second contests, is for the chance to win two Seagate FreeAgent external hard drives. More information about this contest can be found here.

These are both amazing contests and I suggest everyone submit an entry for them.

I am wanting to upgrade my brothers motherboard to a newer one. Is there anything I need to know so that I choose the right motherboard that will work with his system? He has a IBM Personal Computer 300PL which has a Pentium 3 processor. He is running Windows 2000.

go to http://www.newegg.com/ProductSort/SubCateg...SubCategory=280 and check all the options you're looking for in the mobo and click the go button at the bottom. it should list all the mobo's available on that site for you to look at, if you don't see something, i'm sure some other people here will give you some links to sites that have other offerings. from my experience, newegg is probably the best online computer shop there is, imo
