I've been using Avira (Free) for a while now. It works amazingly well for not dropping a dime on it. It keeps giving false alarms though.

How many of you use this software? Would you upgrade to anything in particular?

I do not use it but many on this forum do and really seem to like it.

I use ZoneAlarm av and fw and even though I cannot get the latest one since I have not upgraded to SP3, I will probably use it forever.

I think ill stay with Avira for now. It works 3 times better than McAfee(what came with my computer)

You are welcome and I am sure it does work better than McAfee, just about everything does, lol.

IMHO AntiVir is the one of the best AVs out there. What heuristic setting do you have it set at?
