Outlook Express Corrupted Inbox How to get the old emails back?

Hi, I hope you can help me out. I have a computer that uses outlook express 6. Today, when I started it, I didn't have anything in the inbox. Should have hundreds of emails in there. In the mail store folder, there is an inbox.dbx and an inbox(1).dbx file. The inbox file is much bigger than the inbox(1). From what I have read this is a good indication that the file is corrupted.

I did some checking, and found some solutions to the problem. I moved the files to a different folder, then opened up OE and imported the folders. Everything works, but I'm not able to pull those old inbox emails.

I'm open to suggestions.
