Alright so i recently decided to do a System Recovery to get rid of some pretty nasty virus i had and to start fresh, My pc runs perfectly now and everything is cool gravy however i keep getting this pop up "sonic focus drivers must be loaded for this application to work". Now I'v had this problem before and all i had to do (seemingly) was go into my intel audio studio and set things up, however its not even allowing me to access intel audio stuido. One thing i DID catch was it was working perfectly untill i installed the windows service pack3. Now i do have audio..however..i notice a lack of performance and quality. A good example is: I play WoW and when i mount up i usually hear a sound then the animal roar..well it doesnt happen however i can hear other sounds...sooo weird. Any thoughts id sure appreciate it.

Ok i think i might have found a clue if it helps, when i go into my sound and audio device properties and into speakers it seems to be set up as 7.1 home theater speakers. i change it to desktop stereo speakers click apply then ok...but when i go back in it reverts to 7.1 >.<!!!!

Sounds like your audio driver might be corrupt

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
