On a Dell Vostro 1000 (actually 2 of them,) I am attempting to upgrade windows media player to ver11. I am running xp. The file is coming from download.com. Upon installing, I get the following error message: Error creating process <C:\DOCUME~1\DELL~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP000.Tmp\Setup_wm.exe/P:C:\Documents and Settings\DELL#1\Desktop\wmp11-windowsxp-x64-enu.exe. Reason: the system cannot find the path specified.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

why won't my laptop work?
Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

Thanks for responding. I removed the three files listed from my registry and attempted a new install... received same message.
