Help
O/S Windows XP Home Edition SP2. Trying to download a program and get a popup that says: "So & So" has encountered a problem and needs to close. The result is I cannot complete the download and it erases the website of the subject download, and it goes on to suggest to send an error report to Microsoft or not, which I understand does not have any immediate effect on solving the problem.

To see what date this report contains, click here. (I clicked in to this with the following results) There is a very lengthy list of numbers and details that would take hours to type here. The only other significant think it says is The following files will be included in the error report and they are;
C:\DOCUME~1\ROBERT\LOCALS~1\TEMP\9269____appcompat.txt.
