Hi everbody!
This is my problem, :Error: "Norton AntiVirus 2004 has encountered an internal program error" (4002,517)

Well, when I startup my pc, it appears...
I did something to solve the problem (installing symevent), but nothing happened

So I'm getting assured that the problem is in the registry

THIS IS THE EXPLANATION THAT SYMANTEC GIVES:

This error can happen if a registry entry is left over during the installation. Follow the steps in this section to remove the entry.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WARNING: In the next steps you will edit the Windows registry. We strongly recommend that you back up the registry before you make any changes to it. Incorrect changes to the registry can result in permanent data loss or corrupted files. Modify only the registry keys that are specified. See How to back up the Windows registry for instructions.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To edit the registry
Exit all programs.
On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Run.
In the Run dialog box, type the following:

regedit

Click OK.

Navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services

On the menu, click Edit > Find.
In the Find what box, type the following:

DeleteFlag

Click Find Next. (What do I do after that??, i don't understand)
Press Delete, and then click Yes to confirm the deletion. (where do i press delete, over which file???????)
Press the F3 key to search for the next instance of this key.
Repeat steps 9 and 10 for each key that is found until you see the message that the registry editor is finished searching.
Exit the Registry Editor.
Restart the computer.

If someone can explain that correctly to me, i would aprreciate it a lot.....

Thanks!
