My ISP responded with "no response", my browser was ID'd as IE and Gecko...your choice, and the rest of the test concluded that I must be OK...or as it was put, it seems you have no problems associated with Active X. BTW, the free A2 program is good, too. Thanks for the link! -------------------- patiently patrolling, plenty of persisant pests n' problems ...

No open ports, no ISP response, and since I don't use IE, no Active X problems. Only miminal browser information supplied. This confirms several other browser/ firewall tests I have run. Been using it as part of my regular maintenance program (Spybot, Ad-aware,Spyblaster,Spywareguard, AV, a2) for quite a while, now. So far (knock on wood), I've been able to remain problem free for about 2 yrs. IMHO, with all of the "nasties" out there on the net, you would be a Fool to go surfing without these (or similar) security programs. -------------------- Health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die. .
