Explorer.exe Application Error during Shutdown/Restart/Logoff

I have installed McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise 8.5.0i with installed patches 7 on my PC (Windows Vista Home Premium SP2).
The virus scan is successfully installed on the machine and works fine (After installation I had to update windows defender as well because there was a warning from security centre coming).

The only problem is whenever I shutdown/restart/logoff my home PC it gives a message "explorer.exe Application error. The memory at..... could not be referenced...." and I have to press ok button to complete the operation.

It is cause of great annoyance. Any help is highly appreciated.
